Application Process
This procedure ensures that businesses certified by Watermelon Partners align with our commitment to ethical commerce. Businesses must demonstrate that their products and services are not linked to supporting conflict, promoting a peaceful and responsible marketplace.
Steps
Initial stage: Complete your application and a member of our team will contact you to start the compliance check process and payment details.
Compliance check: Our team will thoroughly check your business against the Watermelon Partners certification standards and provide you with the outcome. This will result in a pass or fail. Advice will be provided of actions to take to reach the minimum standard, and a recheck will be scheduled. Upon successfully passing the check, the official Watermelon Partners certification and WP vinyl will be provided.
Certification attainment: The business should display the certification and WP vinyl in their business premise. They will then be recognised as an official Watermelon Partner and promoted on our website, social media platforms and the business should also promote our partnership on their platforms.
Post certification: Audits will be scheduled further to monitor compliance.
